Contractor License and Registration Requirements

Contractor registration and licensing with the St. Vrain Sanitation District is required for any contractor performing work on:

  • District-owned sewer mains, manholes, or related infrastructure; and
  • Private sewer service lines that connect to the District’s sanitary sewer system.

No such work may be performed without an active District contractor license.
All work associated with these facilities is subject to the St. Vrain Sanitation District Rules and Regulations, Construction Standards (Appendix A), and General Construction Notes (Appendix B), regardless of whether the work occurs on public or private property.
Inspections cannot be requested and scheduled until contractor registration is complete.

License Term, Fees, and Renewal

All contractor licenses expire one (1) year from the date of issuance. It is the contractor’s responsibility to renew the license prior to expiration and to provide updated insurance documentation.

If a license expires, it will be terminated. Contractors seeking to continue work must reapply and pay a $40.00 fee for a new license.

To renew a license prior to expiration, contractors must submit:

  • A completed renewal form
  • Updated certificates of insurance
  • A $20.00 renewal fee

Payment Instructions:
Payments can be made by mailing a check to 4701 Falcon Pl, Frederick, CO 80504, or by paying in person with a credit card.

A renewed license will be issued upon receipt and approval of all required documentation.
